It is very common after start a new diet plan that you begin successfully losing weight but then you will reach a point after just few weeks where you get stuck and no more pounds are lose. At the beginning of your weight loss regime you quickly lose some pounds, because many of the weight loss plans available on the market were created to have this quickly effect on your body. It is unhappily but many of these “quick weight loss plans” are most of the time only impermanent solutions to reach your weight loss target.

The first weeks you are going to kiss your scale for the nice numbers that it is given you, but all off a sudden your scale it is not moving anymore. You are not losing more weight; what it means that you are reached a point commonly known as weight loss plateau! At that situation the known solution to solve the problem and start losing weight again is to examine thoroughly and change your daily habits.

You are following a series of exercise or eating certain kind of food and you are repeating those routines or diet day in and day out during those initial weeks where you start losing weight. Those few weeks are enough for your body get use to these new routines. When you get this point your weight loss plan went inefficient for your weight loss purpose.

1. Count Calories: First of let me tell you that you forget about count calories. The most common practice when you count calories is to restrain your calories consumption to an insufficient level for your body in consequence your body decelerate its metabolic rating as a self-defense mechanism. It means your metabolic rating will be in a low level and with a low level metabolic rating your body will be unable to burn fat.

So if you really want continuing losing weight forget calorie counting, feed yourself whit enough food to keep your metabolic rate in a high level. The body for burning fat needs fuel and food is that fuel. Remember that!

2. Increase the intensity of your workout: If you started with a workout routine and your are not having more good results, try to increase the intensity, for example if you are running try to run a little faster, If you are making other kind of exercising increase the number of repetitions or try to do it faster. If you are doing your routine only few days a week, increase the number of days. Exercise is always a powerful method of increase your metabolic rate.

Start applying these two tips and you are going to obtain the body that you desire sooner rather than later.
